 We are a small, but growing, group of over 100 concerned individuals who wish to see our wilderness kept open for continued stock use.
This excerpt is taken from our club Constitution:
The purpose of this organization shall be to:
- Perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America's back country and wilderness areas and especially the back country and wilderness areas of the Southeastern United States.
- Work to ensure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use.
- Assist the Government and private agencies in their maintenance and managements of said resource.
- Educate, encourage, and solicit active participation in the wise use of the back country resource by horsemen and the general public commensurate with our heritage.
- Foster and encourage the formation of new state back country horsemen's organizations
